Synopsis

A Necromancer controls and raises the dead of the field, while the human peasants have gathered to stop him!

Equipment

At least one shield and one javelin

Field setup

One team is designated humans, and one team is the undead.

The Necromancer leads the undead. He is required to use only a shield and a javelin. Before the game, he picks a number of humans to start as his zombies, equal to roughly about 1/4 of the total field. For instance, if there are 12 players, the necromancer will pick 3 zombies.

Game play and win condition

Zombies are under direct control of the Necromancer. He can order them to throw their lives away at a formation of humans, or continually seek a certain player to kill. Any command the Necromancer gives to his zombies, they are required to follow.

Zombies only die to damage to their heads or bodies. They still receive damage to limbs as normal.

Humans are normal players and have no special properties.

If any player dies, they must fall where they are and stay still. The Necromancer is able to raise any dead player as a zombie with the touch of his dark javelin. He can even throw it to raise a zombie from the dead, though this of course leaves the Necromancer unarmed.

Note that the Necromancer can still use his Javelin in combat, and it still kills humans (or zombies) as normal. It can only raise a dead player as a zombie, so a Necromancer must kill someone with a hit, then touch them again with the javelin to raise them as a zombie.

The Necromancer is unable to heal his zombies, but he can of course kill them.

Game ends with all humans are dead, or the Necromancer is dead, as his magic fades from the active zombies and they die too.

Additional notes

In smaller fields with fewer players, it is encouraged to give the Necromancer 3 stoneskin to compensate for his lack of protection in the early game. This is optional.
