Shoulder Snipes, to which they are so lovingly referred, are any range of shots thrown at the top of the shield-side shoulder in an attempt to "arm" an opponent, forcing them to discard their shield. The shot is typically thrown as a straight chop, sometimes coming in at a 45° angle. Some will consider a shallow wrap to the shoulder a snipe as well.
