Footwear

A vast majority of Dagorhirrim do not wear elaborate or historical footwear. Minimum garb standards require "unobtrusive" shoes or equivalent attempt be made in order to promote a historic/fantasy aesthetic. Quality hand crafted footwear using period techniques can be expensive, and learning the craft of cobbling can be overwhelming. A simple and effective way to obtain passing footwear is to wear earth-tone shoes or boots (not sneakers). Another way is to go barefoot, although weather, as well as large melees can discourage going barefoot.
